2015 is already here, and as I gear up for the coming winter photo-shoots, I decided to look back at the past year and to highlight 12 projects that I really enjoyed photographing. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some very tallented people and I look with great anticipation and excitement as 2015 starts to unfold. These images carry with them many moments that together speak of the experience of being an architectural photographer. While we all experience frustrating episodes of sleepless nights, long flights, hours of post, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, dusting, waiting for the light, missing the light, getting eaten by mosquitoes, sinking in mud, cleaning lenses, looking for a place to eat at 10pm in the middle of nowhere, getting lost in Muskoka on way to a shoot…. it is important to pull back, look at the big picture, and to appreciate the trust we are given by our clients to record and interpret their work.
